Rhino Glass Lite

How to Apply Glass Lite

Applying RHINO Glass Lite requires three simple steps: prep, apply, and buff. Taking the time to properly clean and decontaminate your glass is the secret to a streak-free finish and maximum hydrophobic protection.

1. Prep the Surface

  • Decontaminate: Thoroughly clean the glass using a clay bar and lubricant to remove bonded dirt and embedded contaminants.

  • Deep Clean: Buff the glass surfaces with a Cerium Oxide-based glass compound or a dedicated detailing spray.

  • Dry & Degrease: Ensure the surface is completely dry and free of any polishing oils, waxes, or residue. Use an isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipe or an automotive surface prep spray.

2. Apply the Coating

  • Prepare the Applicator: Wrap the provided applicator block with a white microfiber suede cloth.

  • Dispense: Apply the Glass Lite liquid generously onto the cloth.

  • Spread: Using medium pressure, apply the product in fast, overlapping, cross-hatch motions (horizontal then vertical) to ensure even coverage.

3. Buff and Finish

  • Wipe Off: After allowing the coating to sit briefly (check the specific instructions on your bottle, but usually around 1 to 2 minutes), gently wipe away the residue.

  • Final Polish: Use a clean, dry microfiber towel to buff the glass to a crystal-clear, high-gloss shine. Avoid contact with water for at least 12–24 hours to let the coating fully cure

Visibility Improvements

EnhanceS the night driving experience by eliminating factors such as glare or any light disturbance that affect visibility.

Superb against the build-up of water spots, stains, and oil as it acts as a layer of protection that repel dirt of any kind

Provides a better driving experience during snowy seasons as the layer of protection from the coating rejects the snow, preventing it from building up.

  • Provides a crystal-clear vision while driving in rain.

  • Reduce glare disturbance during the drive.

  • Cannot be washed away easily by chemicals and detergents.

Hydrophobic Performance

Autotriz Glass Lite creates a thin film layer repelling water and dirt from glass. This unique formulation has excellent chemical resistance. Its super hydrophobic properties allow rain flowing off glass surface, resulting in increase of visibility especially in rain and snow. It acts as an exceptional water-repellent coating that reduces water spots on glass. Enhanced clarity of glass makes your driving experience safer and more comfortable.

The unique hydrophobic properties allow rain to flow off glass surfaces effortlessly, giving a better driving experience during the stormy season.

Protects the surface with a long-lasting hydrophobic layer.

Maintenance & Reapplication

Maintaining rhinoGlass Lite requires gentle washing and using ceramic detail sprays. Since glass coatings wear out faster due to constant wiper friction, periodic reapplication is the best way to maintain optimal water repellency and crystal-clear visibility.

Maintenance Guidelines

  • Routine Cleaning: Wash your glass regularly with pH-neutral car shampoos.

  • Dry with Towels: Always dry the glass with a clean, soft microfiber towel after washing to prevent water spotting from mineral impurities.

  • Rejuvenate Hydrophobics: If the water beading slows down, apply a maintenance topper or ceramic detail spray (like RHINO'S Ceramic Spray) during your drying process.

  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive glass scrubbers, strong acid-based water spot removers, or automatic car washes with harsh brushes.

Step-by-Step Reapplication

RHINO Glass Lite is designed to cross-link and bond directly over existing layers, so a full polish or strip down is usually unnecessary unless there is heavy contamination.

  1. Deep Clean & Decontaminate: Wash the glass thoroughly. Use a clay bar or a dedicated glass preparation solution (like Use a Cut Compound to completely remove oils, road grime, and stubborn water spots. Ensure the glass is completely dry.

  2. Apply Coating: Wrap the applicator sponge with the supplied micro-suede cloth. Apply a few drops of Glass Lite and spread it using fast, even, horizontal or vertical strokes.

  3. Buff Off: The coating can typically be wiped off immediately. Use a clean, dry microfiber towel to buff the glass until no streaks or hazy film remain.

  4. Curing Time: For maximum durability, keep the glass completely dry and free from rain for at least 4 hours. Do not use your windshield wipers for 24 hours
