Marine & RV Surface Benefits

RHINO Marine Coating is the world’s first complete nano ceramic coating for marine protection. Specially designed for professionals in protecting, preserving, and preventing all surfaces of the valued investment of yachts, jets and boats that come in contact with the sea water. Trusted to protect some of the world's most expensive yachts and boats which are exposed to the harshest ocean's climates & challenging environments; from the freezing temperatures of the Scandinavian fjords to the damaging ultraviolet rays & heat in Middle East. RHINO'S Marine Coating groundbreaking protective technology is the absolute choice for all sea travelers!    .

RHINO offers protection and solution to all problems relating to the sea such as corrosion caused by salt water, and hull fouling caused by the accumulation of algae and/or shells. Whether it is common problems underwater or above-water, RHINO Marine Products are proven to eliminate and repel them. Today, RHINO Nano Ceramic Coating for the marine industry has protected many surfaces from all the harsh underwater elements. Now, the maintenance and cleaning process for a boat has improved tremendously.

THE ULTIMATE SURFACE PROTECTION FOR MARINE

With the use of RHINO'S advanced nano-technology, RHINO delivers products that will improve your boat sailing experience while protecting your boat from all the underwater and above-water elements. Our highly advanced products’ technology is currently incomparable in the market. Whenever RHINO Marine coating is applied on surfaces, waxes and other conventional protective products are no longer needed. These conventional protective products became outdated as RHINO coating bonds itself onto the surface as a super strong and super smooth layer of armor that cannot be removed by harsh detergents.

Application Instructions

Applying gelcoat ceramic coatings requires meticulous preparation. For the best results, the surface must be properly washed, decontaminated, and corrected (usually via compounding or polishing) to eliminate oxidation and scratches before the coating is applied. Once the gelcoat is perfectly clean, the 3D Matrix coating is applied by hand, allowed to flash, and then leveled using clean microfiber towels.

Maintenance for Gel Coat Surfaces

Gel coat maintenance requires a regular routine of washing, polishing, and waxing. Consistent upkeep prevents UV damage and chalky oxidation. Always rinse with fresh water after every outing, and use a pH-neutral, marine-grade soap to protect the finish.

The Core Maintenance Routine

1. Wash & Decontaminate

  • Frequency: After every outing (especially in saltwater).

  • Method: Use a soft-bristled brush or microfiber sponge.

  • Products: Stick to pH-balanced marine soap. Never use dish soap, as it will quickly strip the wax and dry out the gel coat.

  • Specialty Stains: For tough stains like bird droppings, mineral spots, or black streaks, use a biodegradable marine stain remover.

2. Polish (Restoration)

  • Frequency: 1–2 times a year, or when dulling appears.

  • Method: Polishing compounds contain micro-abrasives that physically smooth pitted, oxidized gel coat. Always use the least abrasive compound necessary to get the job done.

  • Products: For minor dulling, a one-step cleaner wax like Meguiar's Marine One-Step Compound works well. For heavier, chalky oxidation, you will need a dedicated Heavy-Cut Oxidation Cleaner followed by a fine polish.

3. Wax & Protect

  • Frequency: Every 3 to 4 months for maximum UV protection.

  • Method: Waxing fills in the microscopic pores of the gel coat, providing a slick, protective shield against the sun and water. Apply a thin layer with a microfiber pad, and buff with a clean cloth.

  • Products: Choose a high-quality, pure Carnauba wax or a hybrid ceramic wax engineered specifically for boats and fiberglass. Popular options include 3M Perfect-It Boat Wax.

Long-Term Care & Repairs

  • Inspect & Repair: Routinely check for stress cracks, chips, or deep scratches. If water penetrates the gel coat, it can rot the underlying fiberglass. Fix gouges promptly using a gel coat repair kit.

  • Cover Up: Direct sunlight causes gel coat to oxidize like "dead skin". Always use a high-quality boat or RV cover when storing your vehicle.

Ceramic Coating

  • By applying RHINO'S 3D Matrix Cel Coat Protection to your properly prepared surface, many of the steps outlined above will be eliminated.  Our 3D Matrix Gel come in a convenient 250ML size.
